I read about 100 pages and nothing clicked with me, sadly. It seems interesting and it's got some good horror-esque scenes going on, but when a book's style, characters, etc. don't click with you, that's simply how it is.On a lesser note, I can't get the mental image of the wound in Joy's cornea flipping open out of my head. Eye gore is the WORST because it freaks me out to read about people's eyes being messed with. In fact, after reading that scene, my eye started hurting and hasn't quit since.I read the scene in which the wound was described almost a day ago.
