Mostly Good Girls
Gave it 100 pages. Violet was not particularly interesting, the story wasn't going anywhere, and an inappropriate use of the r-word on page 96 made me decide not to keep reading. Offensive uses of the word like that are one of many reasons I no longer read the House of Night series and think badly of PC Cast, one of its authors. I won't tolerate it here either.(At least I only paid $3.94 for this hardcover.)
